CHBA Qualified Net Zero Service Organizations, Energy Advisors and Trainers

The CHBA Net Zero Home Labelling Program is delivered through CHBA Qualified Net Zero Participants: Service Organizations, Energy Advisors, Trainers, Builders, and Renovators.

Qualified Net Zero Service Organizations

Qualified Net Zero Service Organizations (SOs) deliver the Net Zero Home Labelling Program regionally by qualifying the participants and homes that meet the Program Requirements. They are registered by the CHBA to serve as the 3rd party qualification bodies for the Program. CHBA Qualified Net Zero Service Organizations also work with Qualified Net Zero Trainers to deliver the Program’s Net Zero training courses to participants.

Qualified Net Zero Energy Advisors

Energy Advisors (EAs) play a key role in delivering Net Zero Homes and Net Zero Renovations, conducting energy audits, energy modelling, taking the lead on submitting EnerGuide files through Service Organizations to Natural Resources Canada and providing resources to Builders, Renovators and Homeowners in understanding the impacts of the design and implementation of various energy conservation measures.

Qualified Net Zero Trainers

Qualified Net Zero Trainers deliver the Net Zero training courses to students through Qualified Net Zero Service Organizations. All Qualified Net Zero Trainers are experienced building science training professionals and also are required to hold the designation as a CHBA Qualified Net Zero Energy Advisor.
