30-Day Challenge for Wellbeing

Registration Now Open. Challenge Starts May 17.

Members Only Registration: You must be logged in to the website to see the link below

Why?

As the COVID pandemic continues to affect people across Canada, mental wellness – already an important topic – has become an even bigger priority for many companies. Isolation and stress can have major impacts on employers' and employees' ability to manage priorities and tasks. Employee stress and anxiety can have a hefty cost on organizations from absenteeism, lost productivity, and increased healthcare spending. And numbers aside, looking after our mental health is the right thing to do.

To help, CHBA has arranged a 30-Day Challenge for Wellbeing with Teresa Quinlan, a coach and leadership specialist who focuses on emotional intelligence through resiliency, motivation, reasoning, stress management and communications to help companies and individuals cope with the ongoing and unpredictability of our current situation.

This program is available free of charge to all CHBA member companies and any employees within those companies, as well as all staff employed at the local, provincial, and national levels of the association. We hope you will find the program valuable.

About the Program

Welcome to EQ with TQ. This challenge is all about creating productive daily habits and a positive mindset. Each day you’ll get a little inspiration, a little education, and a little practice to develop the emotional intelligence skills that contribute to your wellbeing. Skills that you’ll be able to take with you well beyond the 30-day challenge.

This challenge is a mobile optimized website, accessible wherever you bring your mobile device – easy to set up, easy to use. Plus, there’s a leaderboard for some friendly competition as we all work toward one singular goal – greater levels of wellness, wellbeing, happiness.

From those who have done the challenge...

"Teresa does an incredible job of breaking emotional intelligence into 4 pillars, but more importantly, Teresa gave me a clear direction and purpose to developing each pillar for personal growth leading to an increased effectiveness and satisfaction in everything I am doing. The 30-day challenge was a fantastic opportunity to spend a few minutes a day improving my EQ and the results were noticed by my family and colleagues. I highly recommend EQ with TQ!"
– Russell I., Manager at VELUX Canada Inc.

"The 30-day challenge facilitated by Teresa Quinlan was an excellent experience that has had a deep impact on my life and will continue to for years to come. Learning more about emotional intelligence and gaining an awareness of how my emotions are impacted each day was very powerful. From this challenge, I came away with a journaling routine that has added great value to my life already, and a deeper understanding of what is working, what isn't, and what I can do to course correct to live a life filled with joy.  Thank you, Teresa, for sharing your knowledge with us. I highly recommend this program!”
 – Stefanie Coleman, Marketing and Business Development Manager, Building Knowledge Canada

Why 30-days?

Habit formation. Consistent dedication and repetition are needed to adopt healthy behaviours while stopping unhealthy ones. Your commitment to this is the power of 5: 5 minutes a day, 5 days a week, 5 key areas:

  • 1st area is daily gratitude
  • 2nd areas is daily inspiration, wellbeing oath, and reflection of your EQ practices
  • 3rd is the social sharing of your experiences on the win wall
  • 4th area is Coach’s Corner where you get hot tips from Teresa
  • And the 5th area is an in-depth coaching session to develop the 4 EQ skills that amp up your well-being

Special Features

Wellness Platform ScreenshotWait! There’s more. Three Special features include daily announcements to supercharge your focus, live sessions with me for open Q&A, and gamification! That’s right – you earn points for every element you complete in the challenge. 100 points = 1 ticket which enters the raffle at the end of the challenge for some awesome prizes like 1:1 coaching with me!

Make the time investment for you happiness

Wellbeing is an indicator of our happiness. Happiness is a key predictor of success. The time invested in your wellbeing has a direct relationship to how much success you can achieve. We all know this to be true. We all have experienced emotions that are unpleasant in their nature: anxiety, worry, uneasy, disheartened, frustrated, fatigued, apprehensive, shocked, annoyed, disappointed, alienated. We simply do not operate well in these emotions because they interfere with our ability to access our intellect, our motivation, our strengths. When we learn to successful manage our emotions and intentionally cultivate feelings of wellness, that’s when we can fully access our IQ, our strengths, our talents!
