Canada's Foremost Event for Net Zero HomesĀ

This June, we invite you to join us for an in-person interactive event for the residential construction and renovation industry, where participants will gain insight and explore innovative, industry-leading efforts. This event is not a typical conference where you simply listen to people talking on a stage. This is a Leadership Summit, where participants are part of the dialogue; interacting and providing input and feedback during each session to work though the opportunities and challenges. Focused on valuable content and participant engagement, the Summit will convene leaders in the industry such as builders, renovators, energy advisors, product manufacturers, service providers, utilities, developers, as well as government, and academia from across Canada.Ā

Supporting the industry

In 2014 with the inception of the Net Zero Council (NZC) and in 2015 with the development of the Net Zero Home Labelling Program, CHBA renewed its leadership role and supporting innovation by helping early adopters of Net Zero Homes overcome barriers and voluntarily build to higher levels of energy performance. The program has since grown to include renovations and low-rise MURBs. Now, with emissions and resilience on the horizon in the Building Codes, the goal is to work with the leaders to find affordable ways for the industry to meet these new challenges.Ā

Action-packed agenda

The agenda is guided by the CHBA NZC nation-wide strategic plan developed in part from the results of the past Summits, where priorities and stakeholders were identified to ensure a holistic approach was being implemented, and to support the industry with solutions and tools. Over the course of this event, you will have opportunities to engage with the other participants, speakers, panellists, and the Demo Hub exhibitors, offering you a deeper network upon which to build your Net Zero business opportunities. And, like previous years, weā€™re going to have some hearty Canadian fun while weā€™re at it, eh!?Ā

Hosted at the River Rock Casino Resort in beautiful British Colombia, this stunning waterfront location is ideal for networking with industry leaders and for motivational scenery to inspire innovative developments in residential construction and renovations.Ā

And with the addition of an optional LEEP ASHP session on Monday, June 10, and the optional tours on Thursday, June 13, come for the week and consider staying for a weekend to enjoy all there is to do in the stunning Greater Vancouver Area (GVA) and Vancouver Island regions.Ā
