CHBA Membership ID Lookup
Entering the CHBA National Awards for Housing Excellence? To enter, you'll need the company’s CHBA Membership ID. If you're planning to credit a CHBA member company as a contributor, you'll also need their Membership ID. This page will help you lookup the Membership ID and copy/paste it on your entry.
STEP 1: Select the home builders' association (HBA) where the company is a member (note: the main entrant (builder/renovator/developer) must be a member in the HBA where the project is located in order to be eligible).
STEP 2: Check to make sure the company has the correct membership type.
- Main Entrant: These awards go to a builder/renovators/developer, and so the main company must be one of those membership categories (marked with a green star icon)
- Co-Entrant/Partner: If there is a co-entrant/partner, the company must also be a builder/renovator/developer (marked with a green star icon). They must also be members in the same HBA where the project is located (i.e. the same HBA as the main company)
- The exception is for marketing awards: marketing companies can be named as co-entrants/partners for marketing categories. They can have any membership category (marked with a handshake icon). They do not need to be members in the same HBA as the project.
- Contributors: If you're acknowledging a contributor, they can belong to any HBA, and can be any membership category (handshake icon).
STEP 3: Copy the membership ID and paste it into the award entry platform.
