Yes, CHBA has negotiated special Conference room rates. These group rates are considerably lower than regular rates and are available to delegates until January 12, 2023 or until the block of rooms is sold out (whichever occurs first). I have some dietary restrictions. Can Home Building Week accommodate my needs?

When you register for Home Building Week, you will be asked to specify any food allergies or intolerances you would like us to be aware of. This information is provided to the hotel well in advance and will be accommodated as possible.  “Preferences” such as low-carb or low-sodium cannot, unfortunately, be accommodated. At buffet functions, please check in with a server to receive any special dishes prepared for you (or to confirm what you can enjoy from the food stations).  At served functions, please make yourself known to your table server to receive your correct meal.

What is Housing Night in Canada?

Housing Night in Canada is a casual evening intended to celebrate our industry and Association. This year’s theme is “Camp Wannabuild.” Be prepared for a fun night of camping-inspired eats, lively music and dancing, and camping-themed activities that will have you moving around and making new friends. Dress comfortably in your best camping attire.

What should I know about the National Awards for Housing Excellence on Thursday?

This is a more formal evening—black-tie optional. It encompasses the 2023 CHBA National Awards for Housing Excellence, showcasing the best of the best in new homes, renovations and community development, as well as new home marketing, interspersed between courses of a sumptuous dinner menu. The Housing Awards Gala is always a full house, with extra guests arriving that night just for the awards presentations.
