Renovation Month

2014’s Renovation Month focuses on the Canadian renovation industry being able to service the needs of the public through our theme, “Ready When You Are.”

In addition, there is a separate campaign focused on professional renovators to encourage them to join the association using the theme, “Open the Door to Business Opportunities.”  To support this effort, Home Hardware has supplied a $5,000 gift card.  The card will be awarded to new renovator member of CHBA that Joins during October, 2014.

The campaign images and backgrounders drive home the benefits to consumers of hiring a professional renovators who does things the right way.

Reno Month Guide

This guide has been prepared to help local Home Builders’ Associations (HBAs) and their members benefit as much as possible from Renovation Month.
The guide presents a blueprint for success. The step-by-step directions make it easy for HBAs with little or no prior Renovation Month participation to plan and carry out an exciting and rewarding campaign. Experienced HBAs will find lots of information to help them broaden and fine-tune their activities. The Guide will:
  • Discuss the benefits of participating in Renovation Month.
  • Outline how to get started.
  • Suggest activities.
  • Suggest timelines.
  • Describe the materials available from CHBA.
  • Offer advice on how individual new home builders can get the most from participating.
Finally, the Guide will also discuss the year-round use of the Renovation Month materials, beyond the campaign.
